Beautiful Bataeñas will once again take centerstage at the launch and media presentation of Binibining Bataan 2024 on August 31 at the Plaza Antonino in the municipality of Orani.
Formerly known as the Miss Bataan pageant, Binibining Pilipinas will also hold the Swimsuit and Creative Costume Competition as part of its pre-pageant activities. The grand coronation night will be held on Sept. 28 at the Bataan People’s Center.
Spearheaded by the Bataan Provincial Tourism Office, the 2024 pageant winners will be crowned Binibining Bataan, Binibining Bataan Eco-Tourism, and Binibining Bataan Culture and Arts. Each title carries with it the responsibility of promoting Bataan’s rich cultural heritage as well as advocating for sustainable practices. Additionally, the runner-ups will be named Tourism Ambassadress, set to champion the province’s tourism and cultural initiatives.
Taking off from the successes of Miss Bataan which held its last competition in 2018, Binibining Bataan 2024 will be showcasing candidates from each of the 11 municipalities and 1 city in the province, each one a distinct celebration of grace, intelligence, and the fearless spirit of the women of Bataan.
The heart of Binibining Bataan 2024 lies in the “Power of Purpose.” This theme underscores the transformative impact that these women can have on their communities and the province as a whole. Their participation is a testament of their advocacy towards cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and social progress. Through this platform and along with their respective reach, these ladies can help inspire change and promote values that make Bataan unique.
Binibining Bataan also serves as a platform for local creatives to showcase their talents. From designers to artists, the event offers a space for Bataan’s creative community to shine, further enhancing the cultural richness of the event and providing an avenue for local artistry to be celebrated on a grand stage.
